Tarangire National Park is the third largest in Tanzania, dotted with amazingly large Baobab trees and herds of elephants. The park is home to many animal species and some rare bird species.
Spent last night in the Tarangire Safari Lodge in a tent which had a bedroom, toilet, shower, and sink. Electricity was only available between 6-10 am and 6-11 pm. Elephants, zebras, and antelope roamed the lodge grounds and lions could be heard roaring throughout the night. The tents were up on a hill with fantastic views. Tent and Views Serengeti
Stopped to view the Ngorongoro Crater, then spent the night at the Ngorongoro Farmhouse and Coffee Plantation where they grow and raise everything they serve.
